In your role as the Wholesale Operations Support Specialist, at Pacific Alaska Wholesale (PAW), the wholesale arm of the North West Company International (NWCI), your primary responsibility is to provide superior customer service for PAW/SPAN Alaska Sales. If you excel at relationship building and enhancing customer experience, this opportunity is for you!

Job Responsibility

  • Support and resolve customer issues, including shipment tracking, credits, and product availability
  • Resolve questions and discrepancies relating to order processing efficiently
  • Compile, sort, and verify data to be entered, review error reports, and enter corrections into the computer system
  • File source documents after entry and keep records of work completed
  • Accountable for all aspects of receiving, production of shipping documents, and invoicing
  • Support the PAW/SPAN team as required

Requirements

  • Three years office experience, preferably in a retail or wholesale grocery environment
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient computer skills and comfortable learning other computer programs/systems
  • Proficient in 10-key
  • Must be detail and process oriented and possess critical thinking skills

Nice to have

  • College or additional training
  • Experience with inventory management and/or accounting
  • Knowledge of rural Alaska shipping methods and Alaska Native Corporations
