Job Description:

The department handles whole vehicle system testing and approval in Japan/Korea for Dev/QA. Before SOP, local validation ensures a bug-free system for Group brands, crucial for market launch and customer satisfaction. This role ensures high quality in prototype/pre-series cars by monitoring systems and analyzing/adapting ECU coding to meet Group standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate online connectivity validation (mobile services, apps, infotainment)
  • Coordinate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS, Lvl2+/3) validation
  • Assure high-quality testing (self-testing, driver coordination) and ticket relevant issues
  • Knowledge transfer from Group Dev/QA on system updates and ECU coding
  • Develop market-specific validation strategies and efficient test operations
  • Market-specific adjustment, optimization, and digitalization of validation IT systems
  • Establish optimized workflow for lean ticket creation and follow-up

Requirements:

  • BA or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Drivers license valid in Japan
  • Business+ English (including conversation), basic Japanese, basic German (ideal but not necessary)
  • Knowledge of whole vehicle systems, validation testing strategies, compliant and ticket handling
  • Communication skill with internal/external colleagues
  • Organizational skills
  • Facilitate project management meetings
  • Strategy creation for own area of responsibility
  • Operation process creation for own area of responsibility

  • Assists in ensuring that all waste and consumables deliveries, residues storage, management and removal operations, are conducted within prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental constraints and guidelines
  • Assists with plant operations to enable the facility to operate within its Environmental Permit, Planning Conditions and complies with its duty of care responsibilities, whilst fulfilling its contractual and company targets for safety, waste inputs, vehicle turn-around times and residue outputs
