The role involves ensuring the high-quality operation of prototype and pre-series vehicles, investigating and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with colleagues across different locations. Responsibilities include coding and parameter adjustments within vehicle ECUs, adapting vehicle systems to meet customer requirements, and ensuring on-time vehicle releases.
Job Responsibility:
Investigate and resolve technical problems by updating/coding ECUs
Transfer knowledge from Group development and quality assurance divisions
Improve processes related to vehicle preparation and testing
Ensure high quality of driver assistance systems and online connectivity testing
Contribute to the development process by identifying and reporting issues
Develop market-specific validation test strategies
Optimize Group's vehicle validation IT systems
Establish efficient workflows for issue tracking and resolution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
3+ years of experience in vehicle systems testing or validation
Strong knowledge of whole vehicle systems
Experience with ECU coding and parameter adaptation
Proficiency in English (business level) and basic Japanese
