As a Cover Supervisor in Cardiff, you’ll guide students, manage the classroom, and inspire learning – without the pressure of planning lessons or marking homework. Job Responsibility:

Step into the classroom with confidence, following prepared lesson plans when the teacher is away
Encourage participation and foster a positive, engaging learning environment
Support and inspire students to build confidence and achieve their potential
Create a safe, welcoming space where every student can thrive
Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures to keep everyone safe
Provide constructive feedback to teachers on lessons and student progress
Adapt easily to different classrooms, subjects, and age groups as required

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people (education, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A proactive and flexible approach to working in different school environments
Ability to engage and motivate students
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Registration with the EWC (or willingness to register)
