As a Cover Supervisor, you'll manage classrooms and support students without the burden of lesson planning or grading. Job Responsibility:

  • Step up with enthusiasm to deliver lively and engaging lesson plans when the primary teacher is away
  • Foster a supportive and uplifting learning environment through outstanding classroom management skills
  • Inspire and motivate students on their educational path, encouraging active participation
  • Create a safe and welcoming space for every learner
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, with a strong focus on essential safeguarding measures
  • Share insightful feedback on lessons and student development with the teaching staff
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings and subjects as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with children or young people in environments like education, coaching, or mentoring
  • Strong classroom management skills and great communication abilities
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude, ready to succeed in different school settings
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Enhanced DBS registration on the Update Service (or a desire to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the EWC (or a willingness to complete the registration process)
