Job Responsibility:

  • Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, carry out physician orders, and notify physicians and families as needed
  • Assess residents, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team
  • Develop, implement, and update resident care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and team members
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in accordance with policy and regulation
  • Supervise and delegate nursing care to other staff while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, controlled substance security, and adherence to all facility and state requirements

Requirements:

  • High school education or GED
  • Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN or LPN licensure
  • 1 year of experience working in an Assisted Living environment
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
  • CPR certification
  • Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance
