The Wellness Concierge role at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is vital in extending this excellence into the Sports Club and wellness offerings. Serving as the primary point of contact and hospitality ambassador within the Sports Club, the Wellness Concierge ensures every member and guest is warmly greeted, feels welcomed, and receives attentive, personalized service. This position requires an individual passionate about luxury hospitality and wellness who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting that values member engagement and innovative wellness programming. The Wellness Concierge manages scheduling of a variety of wellness and fitness services, including group fitness classes, personal training, Pilates sessions, and recovery offerings. Additionally, this role oversees billing and point-of-sale transactions, coordinates special programs such as metabolic testing, and supports retail sales and member onboarding.
Job Responsibility
Serve as the primary point of contact and hospitality ambassador within the Sports Club
Welcome members and guests
Manage scheduling of wellness and fitness services
Oversee billing and point-of-sale transactions
Coordinate special programs
Support retail sales and member onboarding
Maintain professional appearance
Greet members and guests warmly
Manage check-in procedures
Schedule and coordinate group fitness classes, personal training sessions, Pilates appointments, wellness consultations, recovery services, and special programs
Coordinate PNŌ metabolic testing appointments
Process billing transactions, retail purchases, membership charges, and service payments
Provide facility tours
Assist members in selecting wellness programs
Maintain continuous coverage of the concierge desk
Coordinate member flow
Respond to member questions
Escalate concerns
Promote retail merchandise
Assist with member onboarding
Maintain accurate records
Support departmental events
Ensure concierge area clean
Attend meetings and training
Follow company policies
Execute responsibilities supporting Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently
Minimum two years experience in concierge or related hospitality or wellness environment preferred
CPR/AED certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
Ability to move throughout the Sports Club and wellness facilities
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to operate computer and point-of-sale systems
Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and colleagues
Associate's degree in Hospitality, Recreation, Business Administration, Wellness, Fitness Management, or related field preferred
Experience with scheduling, booking systems, point-of-sale systems, billing, and guest service operations preferred
Strong customer service and hospitality skills with a passion for member engagement
Knowledge of fitness, wellness, recovery, and recreational services preferred
Proficiency with scheduling, reservation, billing, and point-of-sale systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and club management software
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Technogym platform experience preferred
Nice to have
