Job Responsibility

  • Play a key role in Cats Protection’s commitment to creating an organisation where every person - colleague, volunteer, or those we come into contact with - feels supported, safe, and valued
  • First point of contact for wellbeing queries, providing guidance, coordinate processes, and help ensure concerns are handled appropriately and sensitively
  • Be the key person in the delivery of the I Act programme, helping to embed a peer-supported approach to mental health and wellbeing across the organisation
  • Assist with safer recruitment administration, coordinate and complete DBS applications, maintain accurate records, and support the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in safeguarding children and adults, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practice
  • Experience supporting positive wellbeing and delivering mental health or wellbeing training in a workplace or organisational setting
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work proactively both independently and within a team
  • A recognised professional qualification equivalent to at least NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
  • Confident in designing and delivering training to diverse audiences, with excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders
