Job Description:

Kingland House Residential Home in Poole, is looking for a fun and lively person to join our Activities team. As a Wellbeing & Activities Lead, you will curate, organise and participate in a varied and exciting activities schedule for residents, which they can enjoy and which will enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.

Job Responsibility:

  • Curate, organise and participate in a varied and exciting activities schedule for residents
  • Offer a range of activities throughout the day, taking into account the abilities and preferences of each resident
  • Organise outside entertainment, seasonal parties and outings throughout the year
  • Arrange fundraising events to encourage involvement with the local community
  • Keep records effectively

Requirements:

  • No formal qualifications required although previous care experience is beneficial
  • A good level of English
  • A bubbly & friendly personality
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to use a camera
  • Basic computer skills
  • Record keeping skills
