Job Description:

Well-being Coach role utilizing collaborative process to engage, educate, and promote members in decisions related to achieving optimal well-being. Supports members in identifying personal goals across six dimensions of wellness including physical, emotional, social, financial, purpose, and character strengths.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Engage, educate, and promote members in decisions related to achieving optimal well-being
Support members in identifying and achieving personal goals across six dimensions of wellness
Provide coaching via telephone and televideo
Utilize motivational interviewing and active listening skills
Empower members to meet personal wellness goals and sustain long-term positive behavioral change
Assess member's appropriateness for coaching and coordination into other levels of care
Develop and monitor established plans of care

Requirements:

1+ years of professional wellness/life coaching experience
Must hold professional coaching certification: Board Certified Coach[BCC], ICF-credential [ACC/PCC/MCC], or NBC-HWC
Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
Private and confidential workspace free from distractions
Professional camera-ready work environment available at all times
Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 400 Mbps download, 10-20 Mbps upload)
Technologically proficient
able to troubleshoot basic issues
Comfortable conducting video chats, virtual calls and using digital communication tools
Bachelor's Degree in Wellness related field (e.g., Health ed, Wellness, Health Promotion, Behavioral Health)

Nice to have:

Experience across the six dimensions of well-being including physical, emotional, social, financial, purpose and character strengths
Demonstrated ability to communicate, problem solve, and work effectively with people
Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavioral change
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
Background in motivational interviewing, active listening skills, Transtheoretical Model, mindfulness-based and other evidence-based coaching techniques
Bilingual Spanish speaking
