Job Description:

Precision welding at Caterpillar Peterlee. We are looking for time-served MIG Welders who take pride in the structural integrity and precision of world-class machinery. You'll work in a high-tech facility building massive yellow trucks for the world's biggest construction sites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Use your MIG welding expertise to work on high-precision fixtures
  • Work to tight tolerances where quality is the number one priority
  • Operate overhead cranes and use jigs to move and assemble heavy-duty components
  • Collaborate with a team who take pride in the safety and standard of their work

Requirements:

  • A relevant NVQ Level 3 in Welding
  • A solid background in MIG welding and the ability to pass a trade test
  • A safety-first approach and a keen eye for detail
  • Comfort working in a shift-rotation environment (Days, Afternoons, or Nights)
