Job Description:

Welding Supervisor position in Pipe Shop - Metal Structures supervising manufacturing, assembly, welding, and painting activities while ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations

Job Responsibility:

Supervise manufacturing, assembly, welding, and painting activities for piping and metal structures
Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations
Delegate responsibilities and tasks, and monitor team performance
Interpret technical and isometric drawings
Conduct inspections and ensure process compliance
Collaborate with production, technical, quality, and health and safety teams

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with proven experience in welding metal structures
Experience in large-scale industrial or offshore projects (preferred)
Proficiency in welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, Coated Electrode)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Knowledge of ASME, AWS, NR-13, NR-33, and NR-35 standards
Welding or inspection certifications (preferred)
Fluency in French (required)
Planning, organization, and results-oriented
Ability to analyse and solve problems
Leadership
Teamwork
Availability for mobility

Nice to have:

Experience in large-scale industrial or offshore projects
Welding or inspection certifications
