Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of welding manufacturing experience in shipyard or maritime environment and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, or equivalent specialized education OR 6 years of welding manufacturing experience with an associate level technical degree in a similar discipline
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is preferred
Working knowledge of NDT processes in a shipyard or maritime environment or NDT Level II certification required
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an ability to apply corrective and preventive measures to streamline processes
Strong knowledge in ASME, AWS, ABS, and/or related technical documents regarding welding practices/procedures

Provides welding technology and NDT administration and support as needed
