Job Description:

We are partnering with a trusted construction firm in British Columbia looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for welders with a solid foundation in welding techniques and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Job Responsibility:

Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment
Maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for both taste and appearance
Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding by cutting, grinding,and shaping materials as required
Read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings to ensure precision in all welds
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques to assemble and repair metal structures

Requirements:

Red Seal Certification as a Welder in British Columbia (preferred but not mandatory)
At least 3 years of welding experience in construction or fabrication
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with experience in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel welding
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and exposure to heat
