We’re growing our team and currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to our team’s success. In this role, you'll be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal structures and components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in a variety of welding techniques. Job Responsibility:
Perform welding duties using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to join, cut, or repair metal components
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
Prepare, clean, and assemble materials for welding, ensuring accuracy and quality
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools as needed
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of protective gear and equipment
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery
Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Requirements:
Certification in welding (CWB, Red Seal, or equivalent) preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience and exposure
Strong proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to work in a safe environment
You are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British Columbia
Nice to have:
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting an asset
Knowledge and experience of various welding processes an asset
Previous experience in [specific industry or application, e.g., construction, manufacturing] is an asset
