Welder

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.)
• Inspect welds and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Operate grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment as needed
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition

• Ability to work independently or as a team member with a positive attitude
• Able to follow instructions both written and verbal
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• High school diploma or GED
• technical training or certification in welding preferred
• 2+ years of welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
• Understanding of metal types and thicknesses
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity math (fractions, decimals, measurements)

knowledge of Stick welding is a plus
