Job Description:

KP Staffing Granbury is now hiring welder helpers for a local fabrication company in the Weatherford area! This reputable fabrication company services a wide range of industries with a focus on quality and durability. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of work areas
  • Assisting welders to set up rigs and move them between work areas
  • Ensuring welders have the required materials and tools available
  • Maintaining stock levels of materials and supplies
  • Following welders’ instructions and advice
  • Employing buffers and grinders to clean welds

Requirements:

  • Be able to operate various tools and types of equipment
  • Basic math skills and proper reading of a tape measure
  • Able to identify safety risks and hazards, and comply with relevant safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to lift 50+lbs in non climate controlled environment
  • Ability to work long shifts with a willingness to learn

Nice to have:

Any welding experience is a plus
