A manufacturing company in Waterloo has a full-time opportunity for you to advance your career in the welding trade for $30.00 to $34.00 per hour. Based in Waterloo, this role involves custom fabrication and high-end cosmetic welding on aluminum and carbon steel.
Job Responsibility:
Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components
Execute custom fabrication by cutting, bending, buffing, and grinding various metals
Configure gas and machine settings for specific manufacturing industry projects
Conduct quality control on all seams to ensure cosmetic perfection
Requirements:
Five to eight years of experience in a custom manufacturing industry shop
Proven proficiency in TIG and MIG welding on aluminum up to 1/2"
Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings for assembly
Ability to read both metric and imperial measurements
Possession of CWB tickets is considered an asset for this Welder role
