We are seeking a detail-oriented Weld Inspector to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in a high-performance, cleanroom-driven environment. This role is responsible for inspection, testing, and quality validation of ultra-high purity (UHP) process systems prior to production. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with advanced semiconductor infrastructure, including gas, chemicals, and utility systems, while receiving structured training and long-term career development.
Job Responsibility:
Inspect orbital (automatic GTAW) welds on 316L stainless steel piping to required specifications
Document all accepted and rejected welds with accuracy and compliance
Communicate inspection findings with welders and coordinate rework and re-inspections
Perform quality surveillance to ensure adherence to UHP welding procedures
Conduct system walkdowns of gas, chemicals, and utility lines to verify: Proper support and hangers, Correct routing and labeling, Overall workmanship and compliance standards
Witness and verify pressure testing of UHP and facility systems
Maintain clear communication with engineers, supervisors, and field personnel
Work safely at heights using ladders, harnesses, and fall protection equipment
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Nice to have:
Welding inspection, weld quality, or fabrication experience
Experience in semiconductor, construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Exposure to orbital welding (GTAW), stainless steel piping, or UHP systems
Familiarity with cleanrooms or regulated environments
