Job Responsibility

Act as the first point of contact for all site visitors, providing a professional and courteous welcome
Induct first-time drivers, ensuring they understand site rules and are provided with maps and relevant safety information
Check that all drivers meet the access requirements, including scanning MP Connect cards
guide non-compliant drivers through the appropriate process flow
Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety protocols, including PPE usage, load sheeting, and engine shut-off
Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear site instructions and maintain smooth traffic flow
Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights and materials, ensuring legal compliance
Issue uplift and delivery tickets and ensure all necessary information is recorded for invoicing purposes
Liaise with sales and distribution teams to report on product availability, delivery schedules, and vehicle issues
Plan and allocate daily deliveries, ensuring efficient and safe use of available fleet resources

Job Responsibility

Operate mobile plant safely and efficiently in line with Group policies and procedures

Operate weighbridge systems in accordance with Duty of Care regulations and the site licence, keeping accurate records

Report any breaches of rules, near misses, unsafe practices or dangerous conditions to the Site Manager
