As a Support Worker at Affinity Trust, you will make a difference every day, supporting people to live their best lives, giving them confidence and choice.   • Build Positive Relationships: Establish trusting and professional relationships with young people, acting as a positive role model and maintaining appropriate boundaries
  • Emotional Support: Offer guidance and emotional support to help young people manage their emotions, behaviour, and mental health
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely records of daily logs, incidents, monthly reports, keywork sessions, risk assessments, and support plans
  • Multi-Agency Working: Liaise with social workers, education providers, mental health services, and other professionals to ensure cohesive and effective support
  • Promote Meaningful Routines: Assist young people in planning and engaging in healthy daily routines that support wellbeing and structure
  • Crisis Management: Respond effectively and calmly to challenging behaviour and crisis situations, using approved de-escalation techniques where appropriate
