As we continue being 'Here for you’, we’re looking for a Production Teamleader to bring P.R.I.D.E. to our team in Buggenhout.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of production operators and technicians
  • Promote a strong safety culture and actively contribute to our ambition of zero accidents
  • Complete First Aid training and provide support when required
  • Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency
  • Monitor production KPIs, analyse performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary
  • Identify training needs and support the development of work instructions and training materials
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by reducing production losses, eliminating waste and improving processes
  • Ensure Lean Manufacturing principles (PDCA, SMED, 5S, OEE, etc.) are consistently applied on the shop floor
  • Coordinate production activities, including changeovers, repairs and planned maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Logistics, Planning, Engineering, Quality and HR to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Take ownership of operational decisions and respond proactively to changing production priorities
  • Report directly to the Production Unit Leader
  • Work in the Weekend Day Shift and demonstrate flexibility when operational needs require it

Requirements

  • Technical secondary education or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles such as PDCA, SMED, OEE and 5S
  • Experience working within ISO-based management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production performance indicators
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate, engage and develop people
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Conflict management and collaboration
