Job Description

IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team. If you are looking for a role where you get to use your active selling skills to help co-create the wonderful everyday with our many in-store guests, we would be happy to hear from you. This role calls for someone who is motivated, customer-focused and comfortable providing friendly and helpful service to customers. We have 12-hour contracts working across our Showroom and Market Hall.

Job Responsibility

  • Help customers enjoy a positive shopping experience by approaching them, learning what they need, and suggesting helpful options for their home
  • Always committed to the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
  • Contribute to sales growth by maintaining a clean area, making sure every product is priced, and keeping displays attractive and simple to navigate.

Requirements

  • You take initiative, handle several tasks with ease, and enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to work on your own
  • You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do
  • You are professional, make clear decisions, and use your initiative daily
  • You prioritise and organise your own work to make efficient use of the time available with great attention to detail.
