Job Responsibility

Maintain a clean and safe environment and ensure that all safety equipment is functional and inspected as necessary
Train and supervise beach attendants, pool attendants and waterfront porters
Ensure the staff understands what is expected of them and that they have the proper tools to do their jobs successfully
Perform all staff duties including, but not limited to, renting cabanas, setting beach umbrellas & chairs, towel service, end of day clean up and reset
Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
Resolve guest issues promptly
Control access to the private beach to ensure hotel guest use only
Maintain a professional appearance & friendly attitude towards guests, other employees and management staff
Adhere to and practice the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards at all times
