Our non-profit is seeking a Weekend Only Office Assistant, Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., on a contract-to-permanent basis, to help foster a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for all members and visitors. This position plays a vital role in supporting operations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the building is monitored during weekend hours.
Job Responsibility:
Greet members, visitors, and guests as they arrive, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
Answer basic inquiries in person and over the phone
direct individuals to appropriate staff or resources
Perform regular light cleaning duties including tidying up entryways, counters, communal spaces, and taking trash out
Monitor building activity, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed at all times
Notify maintenance or leadership of any facility concerns or urgent cleaning needs
Support event or service setup and cleanup as required
Other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the building during weekend hours.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in an office, customer service, or hospitality setting preferred
Friendly, positive attitude with excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to perform light cleaning and routine inspections throughout the building
Dependable and punctual for weekend shifts
Commitment to the mission and values of the organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
