Job Description:

Flexible role to offer sickness and holiday cover to ensure service delivery is maintained at all times. To conform to the cleaning specification and schedules and carry out cleaning duties as required with a view to continuously develop and improve quality standards. To take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues, and others who may be affected by your work activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out cleaning tasks as required by the contract specification and Supervisor with agreed timescales
  • Be punctual and attend for duty as requested
  • To achieve the highest standard of work, with a positive team spirit
  • To continuously develop and improve quality standards
  • To meet managers, clients, and company expectations
  • To respond to any reasonable request of the company or client
  • To ensure that products, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored
  • To use your initiative to resolve problems where appropriate
  • Ensure that your appearance and conduct comply with the expectations of the company and the appropriate clothing/PPE is always worn
  • Communicate any unresolved cleaning issues
  • Responsible for the care of tools
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters pertaining to Pareto and the client

Requirements:

  • Awareness/knowledge of Health & Safety issues
  • Experience within the field
  • Tact and diplomacy when dealing with client personnel and visitors
  • Ability to check quality of own work and supervise less experienced staff when required
  • Ability to work with a need for original thought and problem solving
  • High level of concentration, especially when working on machinery and adhering to Health & Safety guidelines
  • Flexibility to cover a wide range of activities and respond to interruptions
  • Ability to work in a variety of conditions including outside, in the presence of animals, adverse weather, dirt, personal risk, noise, and pollution
