Job Responsibility

Provide technical assistance (product
factory
department) on mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic equipment, programming, robotics, laser equipment, traceability, etc.
Technically assist the reception of new equipment (installation, validation and start-up)
Perform diagnostics, maintenance (preventive and corrective)
Perform maintenance services (corrective, preventive, predictive/inspection, activity/system optimization), repair, replacements and adjustments in general, according to law DL 50/2005
Perform preventive maintenance of equipment according to specific activities for each type of preventive
Test the equipment, whenever possible, before and after interventions and take corrective actions, if necessary, as well as recommendations that can prevent recurrence of defects and enable better equipment performance
Diagnose the causes of defects and take the necessary corrective actions
Ensure the maintenance, cleaning, conservation, storage and control of all material, appliances, and equipment

3+ years of Industrial maintenance experience
Experience working with a preventive maintenance schedule
High School graduate or GED required
Minimum 3 years working with lathe, drill presses, band saws, hand tools, pipefitting, welding, brazing, burring, air compressors/HVAC systems

Job Responsibility

Meeting Essity Safety and Quality standards when performing tasks, such as but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out or Confined Space
Following a strict Preventive Maintenance Schedule
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on big machines and support equipment as directed by the maintenance supervisor
Repair machine defects found on machinery when discovered
Report any machine defects identified during PM that cannot be corrected to maintenance supervisor
Responding to calls from the production team to restore and/or adjust machines to keep product running at expected rates
Problem solving and suggesting priorities for smooth operation, asking for help with issues that cannot be resolved
Following established processes, performing preventive maintenance tasks and helping with changeovers as needed
Making improvement recommendations based on operational experience
Work required overtime to complete repairs to minimize machine downtime
