Our client, a well-established wood manufacturing plant that produces high-quality products for industrial, residential, and commercial construction is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their weekday maintenance teams! Job Responsibility:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues to minimize production downtime
Conduct mechanical rounds to identify wear or damage and implement timely solutions
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures, fostering a safe work environment
Collaborate with the maintenance team and supervisors to prioritize and complete tasks effectively
Support major equipment upgrades or installations, ensuring adherence to facility standards
Requirements:
4th year apprentice or Journeyperson Millwright ticket
2–3 years in maintenance or a related field
Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in repairs, PMs, and rebuilds (no electrical skills required)
A track record of promoting and enforcing health and safety protocols
