Requirements

  • Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details and be aware of safety
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
  • Remove trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
  • Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents
  • Solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind
  • Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor
  • Report directly to Housekeeping Supervisor with strong leadership skills
  • Completes job related tasks assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director
  • Have a proven record of making responsible decisions with the resident's best interest in mind at all times
  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effectively worked with professional personnel from outside contractors
  • A proven history of relating well with residents and their families
  • Used caution in performing duties and maintained safe working practices
  • Proficient with cleaning supplies and/or chemicals and their uses
  • Knowledge of professional cleaning equipment, supplies, and common house cleaning devices such as brooms, mops
  • Must be clean, tidy, and appropriately dressed
  • Able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family members
