Job Description

Office Angels Glasgow is recruiting Temporary Events Assistants for a major sporting event taking place in Glasgow City Centre. Due to the scale of this event, we can only consider candidates who are able to commit to a minimum of two shifts. Before applying, please ensure you have reliable transport for the early start and late finish times listed below. We received fantastic feedback from last year's team; however, please note that this role requires you to be on your feet for the full duration of your shift. No previous experience is essential.

Job Responsibility

  • Warmly welcoming and greeting attendees
  • Managing the check-in process and registering visitor details
  • Following strict health & safety procedures
  • Directing guests to facilities including food/drink areas and toilets
  • Answering general enquiries as required

Requirements

  • Experience in any front-facing or customer service role
  • A positive, customer-focused approach
  • Confidence using technology (e.g., iPads for check-in)
  • Professional appearance and manner
  • Clear, confident communication skills

Nice to have

Backgrounds in Customer Service, Retail, Sales, Promotions or Events
