coronal polish certification
x-ray permit
ability to work various days including weekends
ability to work 10-hour shifts (6am-4:30pm)
experience with dental instruments and treatment supplies
knowledge of dental radiography and film processing
knowledge of dental infection control regulations
ability to administer topical medications and fluoride varnish

Job Responsibility

Prepare treatment rooms
apply topical medications, perform coronal polish, and apply fluoride varnish
educate patients on oral hygiene and provide nutritional counseling
develop and conduct educational preventative oral health care programs
make preliminary impressions for dentures
administer prescribed drugs
take vital signs
perform dental screenings and make referrals
conduct, develop, mount, and label x-ray films
comply with infection control regulations
