Perform a variety of full performance duties as needed to help control noxious weeds throughout Bonneville County. Work under the general supervision of the Weed Control Superintendent, Assistant Weed Control Superintendent and Weed Control Administrative Assistant.
Job Responsibility:
Perform herbicide and pesticide application
Dig or pull plants
Operate a weed eater or mower
Clean and perform basic maintenance on vehicles and spraying equipment
Mix chemicals and load spray equipment
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
Ability to perform basic math operations
Ability to operate a computer or tablet
Ability to work independently without supervision or as part of a team
Must possess a valid Idaho driver's license
Must own a sturdy pair of hiking boots
May be required to obtain a professional applicator license (if 18 years old or older)
Ability to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
