Are you passionate about creating unforgettable wedding experiences and bringing dream celebrations to life? The Hillgrove Hotel & Spa, one of Ireland’s most established wedding destinations, is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Wedding Planning Manager to join our team. As Wedding Planning Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of weddings at the Hillgrove Hotel & Spa. Working closely with couples, suppliers and internal hotel departments, you will ensure that each wedding is personalised, seamless and memorable. From the first consultation through to the wedding day itself, you will guide couples through the planning process and ensure their vision becomes a reality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meet with couples to understand their vision and develop personalised wedding plans
  • Guide couples through every stage of the planning journey
  • Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with couples, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience
  • Create detailed wedding timelines, floor plans and event schedules
  • Coordinate closely with departments including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Accommodation, and Events Operations
  • Ensure all wedding-related activities run smoothly and on schedule
  • Assist couples in selecting trusted suppliers such as florists, photographers and entertainers
  • Liaise with vendors to coordinate logistics and ensure seamless collaboration
  • Manage wedding budgets and provide accurate cost estimates
  • Monitor revenue targets and ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintain records of contracts, payments and client communications
  • Act as the main point of contact during weddings
  • Coordinate the event team and ensure all elements are delivered to the highest standard
  • Resolve any issues quickly and professionally to maintain an exceptional guest experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in wedding planning, event management, or hotel events coordination
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding service

Nice to have:

  • Qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field
  • Experience working within a hotel or wedding venue
  • Familiarity with event planning or booking software
