Our client is a leading insurer in Belgium, and they are looking for a skilled Webmaster to join a large, international digital team. This exciting role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the insurer’s digital platforms, optimizing web content, ensuring visual consistency, improving user experience, and supporting the digital business growth within an Agile delivery team.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively update and optimize existing content according to UI guidance, brand guidelines, copywriting standards, SEO, and accessibility rules
Act as a gatekeeper for visual and technical consistency across digital platforms
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including IT specialists, UX/UI designers, marketing teams, and suppliers, proposing and challenging solutions where needed
Support the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Project Manager with recommendations on developments and business requirements
Conduct UATs for new developments, report bugs, and provide feedback to ensure high-quality releases
Research and implement improvements for personalization, search functionality, and digital performance
Configure and maintain the tag management system, ensuring accurate tracking and analytics
Contribute ideas and expertise to help define a future-proof digital strategy for a top insurance company
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in web development and digital project support
Strong technical skills in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, and familiarity with Bootstrap and BEM methodology
Experience with Sitecore is a strong plus
Proficiency in managing tag management systems (Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Adobe Launch)
Solid understanding of SEO, HTML accessibility, and UX/UI principles
Bilingual in NL/EN or FR/EN
A proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset, able to thrive in fast-paced environments while delivering on time
