Job Description

We are seeking a WebLogic Support Engineer to manage Level 2 (L2) activities for Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) and ensure smooth operations of WebLogic environments. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining middleware systems to meet performance standards and customer requirements. The individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide 24x7 production support when required.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and manage Middleware L2 activities for Oracle WebLogic
  • Maintain middleware for Oracle Integrated Applications, ensuring effective implementation of functionalities, data access, and transactions
  • Define, coordinate, and manage roles and access rights in alignment with organisational policies
  • Perform health checks and monitor web and application server environments
  • Ensure compliance with operational agreements and key performance indicators (speed, response time, error rate, MTTR, SLA)
  • Troubleshoot and maintain server logs

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle WebLogic and basic experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware Applications (O2C, AABC, OSB)
  • Proficient in UNIX and SQL basics
  • Hands-on experience with WebLogic 12c
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide 24x7 support when needed
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and effective communicator
