Job Description:

We want to fill this position with a proactive enthusiast who can support us in securing the IKEA brand and our overall vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”, through our omnichannel ambition, by helping us deliver a commercial website and secure an enhanced customer experience online. You will be based in Mexico and are responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and profitability in the online channels, while taking care of the IKEA product range and our commercial priorities within the framework of the IKEA Concept and brand values.

Job Responsibility:

Merchandising the IKEA website optimally
coordinating and aligning content to the commercial calendar
converting online traffic to sales
understanding local consumers’ life at home and shopping behaviour
exploring avenues for repeat purchases and engagements
securing a seamless online shopping experience
aligning the user journey on the IKEA website.

Requirements:

Experience in retail
understanding of e-commerce operations, web merchandising processes and methods
familiarity with the IKEA product range (including new and seasonal) and sales steering and pricing strategies
knowledge of online search, conversion and engagement
proven track record in making commercial decisions based on local consumer behaviour and market competitor information
motivation to overcome challenges in an effective and timely manner
resourcefulness
ability to prioritise and structure work
detail-oriented
excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and project management skills
minimum 5 years of relevant e-commerce functional experience in an international setup
strong working proficiency in the English language.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of online search, conversion and engagement.
