Job Description

Employed within LCB-Sookmyung Academy, the Web Marketer would be responsible for our online marketing strategy, including the content output through our proprietary platforms to our institutional websites (desktop and mobile) and social media, manage listing advertising budgets, SEO, Social Media followers and overall community management, traffic and referral analysis, streamline our CRM processes, and optimize our online conversions such as enquiry and lead generation so that ultimately prospects will enroll to our courses and events. The Web Marketer should also embrace new mediums and technologies and adapt its strategy and output process to fit with these new formats.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with a cross-departmental team, plan, source and maintain the master content calendar for all web properties (desktop site, mobile site, Social Media)
  • Manage content for LCB-SWU’s web presence through our proprietary content management software
  • Plan, coordinate and send blast communications like the monthly newsletter and targeted mailings
  • Copy, edit and proofread all web contents
  • Maintain a consistent and substantial editorial style, look and feel throughout all web properties
  • Manage SEO, Keyword Listing and Social Media advertising budgets
  • Develop traffic and referral analysis to track and report on all metrics and suggest improvements
  • Increase the performance of our online Key Performance Indicators and conversions such as: Pageviews / Return Visitors / Downloads / Brochure Requests / Counselling / Appointment / Direct communication (enquiry, comments etc.) / Likes & Shares / Application Enrolment/ Sales
  • Be in contact with IT support and consultants
  • Keep current with web technologies through marketing and industry online resources and events
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Prepare marketing strategies alongside other company executives and staff

Requirements

  • Korean Nationality
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Minimum 3 years in relevant field and/or industry
  • A portfolio demonstrating a certain technical ability tied to content management strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, Digital Publishing, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator skills
  • Advanced knowledge of content management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO
  • Experience with Keyword/Listing advertising
  • Experience in Social Media optimization and community management
  • Copy-writing skills are appreciated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with people in a culturally diverse educational and business environment
  • Proven ability to solve problems
