Job Description:

Web Developer on-site in Austin, TX. Contract position. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining responsive websites and web applications, developing front-end and/or back-end functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean code, ensuring performance and security, integrating APIs, troubleshooting, optimizing for speed and SEO, and participating in code reviews and deployment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites and web applications
  • Develop front‑end and/or back‑end functionality using modern web technologies
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code following best practices
  • Ensure website performance, security, accessibility, and cross‑browser compatibility
  • Integrate APIs, third‑party services, and databases
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and application issues
  • Optimize web applications for speed, SEO, and usability
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
  • Maintain and update existing websites, features, and content

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern front‑end frameworks or libraries (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
  • Familiarity with back‑end technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar)
  • Experience integrating APIs and third‑party services
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
