Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PHP web applications that meet user needs and business goals. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using technologies such as PHP and MySQL
Implement and manage content management systems (CMS) to ensure seamless user experiences
Create and optimize APIs to support functionality and integration across platforms
Utilize client-side scripting techniques like Ajax to enhance application interactivity
Monitor and resolve bugs using tools like Atlassian Jira to ensure product stability
Conduct A/B testing to improve application performance and user engagement
Collaborate with agile Scrum teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
Design and implement backend systems to support web application functionality
Ensure database integrity and optimization through MySQL development
Maintain clear documentation of development processes and solutions

Requirements:

Proficiency in backend development technologies such as PHP and ASP.NET
Strong experience with MySQL database management and optimization
Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Atlassian Jira
Expertise in client-side scripting techniques, including Ajax
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and their implementation
Ability to perform A/B testing and analyze results for improvements
Experience working within agile Scrum methodologies
Solid understanding of API development and integration processes
