Job Description

Envision Innovative Solutions delivers mission-focused technology solutions to the Defense and Intelligence Community. Since 2006, we have supported critical national security programs by building high-performing engineering teams and developing innovative enterprise solutions. Envision Innovative Solutions is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Web Developer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This Hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on innovative web-based applications that support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern web applications, integrating with RESTful services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life-cycle.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze and translate user requirements into functional software requirements and technical solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications and user interfaces
  • Integrate new and existing software systems to support business and mission objectives
  • Develop applications that interface with REST-based APIs and web services
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Create, update, and maintain software system documentation, including technical specifications and user documentation
  • Assist in the development and execution of test procedures for software components
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality assurance activities
  • Support Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of experience developing web applications and/or front-end solutions
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs and services
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging web applications
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation

Nice to have

  • Modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices
