Job Description:

As a WordPress Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress-based websites. Your role will include working with a variety of themes, plugins, and integrations. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in design, user experience, and website performance. You will also be tasked with ensuring that websites are optimized for search engines and conversions. We’re looking for a data-driven, reliable, and excellent developer

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and update WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins
  • Implement Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Ads tracking, and Google Analytics to track and analyze website performance and user behavior
  • Perform routine site maintenance, including hosting changes, email setup (SMTP), and debugging
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make customizations and ensure responsive, visually appealing designs
  • Work with popular visual builders like Elementor and other similar builders to create and edit layouts efficiently
  • Collaborate with team to ensure the website design matches the brand's visual identity while enhancing the user experience
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site performance, security, and functionality
  • Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and propose solutions to enhance site usability, performance, and conversions
  • Ensure all websites are properly tested across different browsers and devices
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients, ensuring project requirements are met on time

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress
  • Proven portfolio showcasing successful WordPress websites you have developed or contributed to
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience with Elementor or other popular visual builders
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Ads tracking, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking
  • Experience handling SMTP and managing hosting changes
  • Strong attention to detail with a good eye for design and layout, ensuring websites are both functional and visually appealing
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze website metrics and implement improvements
  • Proactive attitude with a strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to accurately follow checklists, video or visual instructions to make updates to websites
  • Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with excellent communication skills
