Position Title: Web Content Manager Location: hybrid 2 Days onsite – Washington, DC Assignment Type: Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $45/hr Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (EST) Benefits: This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States Must Have: · Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) with a preference for Sitecore and Optimizely: Advanced experience with enterprise-level platforms; specific expertise in Sitecore is a major plus. · Project Management: Expert-level use of Adobe Workfront for resource allocation, intake management, and timeline tracking. · Data & Insights: Proficiency in Qualtrics for form creation and Google Analytics for monitoring traffic and engagement metrics. · CRM Integration: Working knowledge of Salesforce (Nimble preferred) or similar CRM databases to manage member permissions and personalization. Responsibilities Project & Traffic Management (50%): · Manage the team’s intake process for new web projects via Adobe Workfront: gathering requirements, defining scope and level of effort, and prioritizing requests to support efficient web production and efficient use of resources · Help optimize Adobe Workfront request queues and intake forms to capture clear project requirements, streamline submission workflows, and ensure web projects enter production with complete and actionable information. · Coordinate web projects from kickoff through launch, facilitating project initiation, monitoring progress, and serving as the primary point of contact for large or complex web initiatives. · Maintain and update documentation for SLAs, web production best practices for consistency and efficiency. · Establish repeatable workflows and templates in Workfront to collect and publish stakeholder-provided content efficiently. Digital Content Production & Governance (20%): · Manage the web production process in Adobe Workfront, aligning resources and coordinating tasks, timelines, and stakeholder reviews to ensure timely delivery of web updates and launch of new initiatives. · Partner with internal stakeholders to provide content strategy recommendations that leading to timely, relevant content for internal and external audiences. · Support and reinforce web governance standards, guidelines, and policies, including publishing workflows and lifecycle management. · Conduct regular content and site audits to ensure pages remain accurate, relevant, and up to date; identify opportunities for content refreshes, consolidation, or removal. · Apply UX best practices to ensure all pages and layouts are intuitive, accessible, and optimized for digital. Budget Coordination (15%): · Responsible for the day-to-day stewardship of departmental funds. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor payments and budget tracking, providing critical data to help leadership make informed financial decisions. · Review all incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance with internal policies. Route invoices for proper approval and submit them for timely payment processing. · Monitor real-time spending against budget allocations to ensure appropriate funds are available before authorizing expenditures. Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations of budgeted funds versus actual invoices processed to ensure ledgers are accurate and supported by documentation. Member Support (15%): · Respond to member inquiries, assisting with web access, account issues, and site permissions, using CRM and other systems, and ensuring timely and accurate support. · Monitor and manage inbound webmaster and support communications, resolving user issues when possible, including updating organizational records, and escalating complex requests to the appropriate internal teams. Qualifications · Proven experience in web content management and digital governance. · Proficiency with CMS platforms (Sitecore preferred), CRM databases (Salesforce or Nimble preferred), and Project Management software (Workfront). · Strong understanding of UX principles and web accessibility. · Ability to balance urgent daily requests with long-term strategic projects. Education: · Bachelor’s Degree Required: Preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. · Professional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in web content management, digital governance, or technical writing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or project management capacity. · Industry Knowledge: Experience within financial services or member-based associations is highly preferred to understand the complexities of banking industry stakeholders.
