Job Description

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Web Content Editor with strong experience in WordPress. In this role, you will manage, edit, and optimise content across our website. You will help ensure our content is accurate, engaging, and well-presented, while supporting the overall usability and SEO performance of the site.

Job Responsibility

  • Edit, proofread, and format content for web pages, blogs, and landing pages on WordPress
  • Upload and manage multimedia (images, videos, etc.) on the WordPress platform
  • Regularly update and improve existing content, ensuring it remains accurate and relevant
  • Create, edit, and publish content using WordPress CMS
  • Manage site functionality, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any WordPress-related issues
  • Optimise content for SEO using tools like Yoast SEO and manage related settings
  • Ensure content is SEO-friendly, including meta tags, descriptions, and keyword usage
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the user experience and improve site performance
  • Monitor content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Provide reports on content performance and suggest improvements based on data
  • Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to maintain a consistent content strategy
  • Contribute to content planning and strategy to align with company goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with WordPress, including content creation and management
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and how to implement them in WordPress
  • Familiarity with WordPress plugins and themes (e.g., Yoast SEO, Elementor, WPBakery)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor customisations
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with page builder tools (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
