We are seeking a seasoned and deeply experienced Director to lead a significant portfolio within our Wealth Technology organization. This is a senior leadership role for a true Wealth Management Technology veteran who has built their expertise across a wide array of the domain's most critical functions. You are not just a leader, but a master craftsman who understands the intricate connections between client onboarding, CRM, advisor tools, workflows, documents, and the data that powers them all. The ideal candidate is a proven 'leader of people' who excels at building, molding, and unifying teams. You will be the central figure responsible for weaving together disparate platforms and experiences into a cohesive whole. Critically, this role requires a hands-on practitioner with proven experience in designing and building Wealth Management systems. The candidate must be an active AI practitioner, well versed in using AI across different stages of developing and managing software.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Platform Leadership: Own the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for a portfolio of core wealth platforms, including Client Onboarding, CRM, External Data Interfaces, etc
AI first - mind-set of infusing AI into everything we do, and being an ambassador for being AI-first in the way we think and approach a situation
Full-Stack Execution: Lead multi-disciplinary teams across the full technology stack—from the underlying data and services/APIs to the front-end UI/experience layer—to deliver seamless, integrated solutions for our advisors and clients
People Leadership & Team Building: Act as a dedicated 'leader of people.' You will be responsible for building, molding, mentoring, and bringing teams together. Foster a world-class engineering culture based on collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence. This may be based on direct team, or the broader team - and with a combination of AI agents
Architectural Vision: Drive the architectural vision for platform integration, ensuring that new solutions are built on a scalable, resilient, and unified foundation
Global Collaboration: Partner with global heads of Product, Operations, and Technology to ensure your teams are delivering against the strategic priorities of the business and providing a world-class technology experience
Requirements:
15+ years of technology leadership experience, with the vast majority (10-12+ years) spent in progressively senior roles specifically within Wealth Management Technology
Demonstrable, deep experience across a wide range of Wealth Management functions is mandatory. This must include direct experience with Client Onboarding systems, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), integration of external data interfaces (e.g., market data, financial planning tools), threading the balance between OLTP systems and their demands, vs. reporting applications, with the ability to operate across both
A distinguished track record as a 'leader of people.' You must have proven experience building teams from the ground up, mentoring senior talent, and unifying disparate groups into a cohesive, high-performing organization
A strong technical foundation and experience leading teams that span the entire technology stack, including data engineering, API development, and front-end UI/UX
A strategic thinker with a proven ability to design elegant, scalable, and integrated solutions to complex, cross-functional problems
