Job Description:

HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra high net worth clients manage, grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. The role involves supporting wealth planners for high net worth individuals, assisting in tailored wealth and legacy planning, performing research, monitoring industry trends, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external intermediaries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support wealth planner to provide comprehensive guidance of High Net Worth Individuals, assisting in delivering tailored wealth structuring and insurance solutions
  • Conduct research on clients’ financial backgrounds and objectives to assist in the preparation of bespoke wealth and legacy planning proposals
  • Assist in monitoring trends and regulatory changes in the wealth planning industry across Asia and globally, preparing summaries and recommendations for the Wealth Planning & Advisory team
  • Help prepare client pitch books, presentations, and supporting documentations, including legal, trust, structuring and investment materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Coordinate the logistics for succession planning discussions, philanthropy solutions, and marketing events, supporting senior team members in client interactions
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Trust Partners and internal stakeholders to facilitate client onboarding in line with Global Standards, ensuring documentation completeness and operational efficiency
  • Liaise with HSBC Private Banking teams and group affiliates to support the implementation and promotion of Wealth Planning & Advisory Solutions
  • Participate in account planning sessions with Wealth Planners, Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors, contributing research, analytical, and executional support
  • Assist in maintaining and developing relationships with external intermediaries, including legal, tax, and trust professionals, through administrative and coordination support
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk standards while supporting the delivery of client solutions

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in law, business, accounting or tax, preferably with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Chartered Public Accountants qualification
  • Experience in client relationship management with legal and tax professional exposure
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Travelling is required on need basis
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision and detail oriented
