You’ll work closely with new and existing clients to understand their long-term goals and provide bespoke solutions that support their financial and lifestyle needs. Your experience will help clients feel comfortable and informed as they take steps toward what matters most to you. This role is part of our Mass Affluent Business, a growing area for the bank. We’re expanding our ability to support clients with investable assets below £1 million and help close the Advice Gap in the UK. As part of our broader Affluent segment, this planning-led proposition offers clear and accessible investment options shaped around each client’s needs. Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain relationships with customers, clients, stakeholders, and strategic partners
Drive business growth through effective relationship-building and delivering tailored solutions
Help clients shape their financial future through thoughtful planning and investment advice
Work closely with new and existing clients to understand their long-term goals and provide bespoke solutions
Build lasting relationships by listening with care, offering specialist guidance, and delivering planning strategies
Collaborate with our Wealth Acquisition team to support new client growth
Work across teams to provide a seamless and consistent experience
Use digital tools and platforms to enhance client engagement and stay connected to market trends
Refine your approach, share ideas, and contribute to a culture that values integrity, inclusion, and high standards
Establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients
Manage client relationships to identify the clients financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance
Research and understanding of the client's industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment
Design customised solutions that address the client's specific needs and objectives
Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justification of recommendations, and negotiation of terms
Provide guidance to clients to support their financial decisions
Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships
Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements
Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics
Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness
Lead a team performing complex tasks
Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures
Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls
Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources
Communicate complex information
Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes
Requirements:
A recognised financial planning qualification at RDR Level 4 or above
A working knowledge of financial markets, products, and regulatory frameworks
Ability to use digital tools to support client conversations
A careful approach to identifying and managing risk
Nice to have:
Experience engaging with both internal teams and external networks to welcome new clients and grow relationships
Broad exposure to the Financial Services industry, especially in retail regulated products and asset management
Familiarity with pensions, investment advice, and UK taxation
Experience managing risk within a client portfolio
Adaptability and curiosity in a fast-evolving environment
