The Wealth Credit Services (WCS) team is an integral part of Wealth Credit Management (WCM) which is dedicated to providing integrated, end-to-end credit underwriting, transaction, and portfolio management. WCM partner closely with all origination businesses within Citi's Private Bank and Wealth Management. We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Wealth Credit Services team. WCS provide primary support to the Wealth Underwriting team, contributing significantly to deal closing activities, loan management, credit approval control, and credit activities that support underwriting execution.
Job Responsibility:
Manage pre-closing documentation and activities for efficient and compliant transaction execution
Maintain accurate credit system updates for new lines, renewals, and amendments
perform data validation and reconciliations
Conduct reviews of loan and credit documentation to ensure strict compliance with credit approvals, regulatory requirements, and accuracy of critical data for reporting purposes
Track, monitor, and test financial and non-financial covenants to ensure ongoing adherence and mitigate risk
Ensure all collateral-driven requirements are met and executed
Monitor credit insurances, ensuring adequate coverage and continuous compliance
Follow control procedures
flag potential issues early and support remediation activities
Identify inefficiencies in daily work and propose ideas for improvements
Contribute to projects and initiatives by executing assigned project tasks
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a large financial institution, preferably within credit, lending, or risk management functions
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivots) and working knowledge of PowerPoint
Fluent in written and verbal English
Basic knowledge in one of the following fields: credit lending, legal/credit documentation, operations, data quality within a financial institution
Ability to manage and monitor credit and transactional data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Clear written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially in documentation and data handling
Problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Handle routine internal partner requests and escalate non-routine queries
Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities can frequently shift
