We are looking for an experienced Wealth Advisor to support high-net-worth individuals and families in Potomac, Maryland. This position focuses on creating thoughtful financial strategies, delivering tailored guidance, and building long-term client relationships grounded in trust. The ideal candidate brings strong planning expertise, investment knowledge, and a client-centered approach to helping individuals meet both wealth preservation and growth objectives.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients by providing attentive, ongoing advisory support
Create customized financial plans that align with each client's short-term priorities and long-term wealth objectives
Lead clients through the planning process by evaluating financial circumstances, identifying goals, and recommending appropriate solutions
Advise on investment approaches, annual planning priorities, and broader wealth management strategies based on client needs
Apply knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and tax-aware strategies to deliver well-rounded guidance
Monitor market activity, industry developments, and product updates to keep recommendations relevant and informed
Prepare research and supporting materials in advance of client meetings to ensure productive and strategic discussions
Ensure all client interactions, recommendations, and documentation adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance standards
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or a closely related financial services role
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
Certified Financial Planner designation required
Active FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, or 65 license
Experience developing financial plans and advising clients on investment and wealth strategies
Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to serve high-net-worth clients effectively
Life and Health Insurance licenses are preferred
