Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced WCS Developer to join our eCommerce development team. The ideal candidate will lead design sessions, develop new features, and ensure high-quality deliverables while adhering to SDLC standards. This is an opportunity to work on a global B2B eCommerce platform for a Fortune 50 company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop features for a global eCommerce platform
  • Create technical design documents and work breakdown schedules
  • Document and execute unit and integration tests
  • Define and implement software development standards and best practices
  • Lead and participate in code reviews
  • Provide 3rd-level production support and application troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure project timelines are met

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in WCS (WebSphere Commerce Suite) development
  • 8+ years in UI development using HTML, JavaScript, React, and CSS
  • 6+ years of experience with DB2 or equivalent databases
  • Proficient in Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services (SOAP, XML)
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and UML
  • Experience leading projects through formal SDLC processes
  • Requires strong communication and leadership skills
  • Regular and reliable workplace attendance is mandatory

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to additional eCommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
