Job Description:

The Company: A UK Infrastructure provider covering a variety of projects, with technology from copper, fibre and wireless technology. They deliver once, future-proofed ultrafast Gigabit-capable full fibre broadband, giving buildings and homes the fastest available broadband. They have secured investment to deliver Fibre Only, Wholesale Only, Gigabit Broadband to more than 500,000 underserved premises by 2025.

Job Responsibility:

  • Sustain and observe the wayleaves process and systems across the business
  • Track and disclose on all wayleave activity, identifying gaps in process and procedure and ways of achieving better outcomes
  • Work alongside wayleave officers to achieve the require permissions to ensure build activities are not coerced
  • Understand all aspects of wayleave processing and negotiation in reaching agreements in respect of FTTP Fibre/Civils/Telecommunications
  • Obtain wayleaves across required regions

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Provision of excellent planning and forecasting advice to the business and teams to enable required resource
  • Track record of continuous improvement in value and customer experience in the field of delivery of telecoms services
  • Experience in a telecoms Wayleave capacity preferred
  • Understanding of Fibre and telecoms market place
